MY LIVE DIARY: Talk In Code

 Talk in Code are a 4-piece indie pop/ rock band from Swindon who formed in 2012. Their debut album attracted attention from Q and BBC Introducing and the band were described as an “M4 corridor super group”. Their fist-pumping, anthemic indie-pop earnt the band support slots with Amber Run, My Life Story and Catfish and The Bottlemen.

MY LIVE DIARY: The Carnaby’s

The Carnaby’s are a 5-piece indie rock band from Twickenham, London who released their debut album No Money On The Moon in 2014. Since their formation they have headlined the Isle of Wight Secret Garden Stage, as well as Tunnel to Tunnel, The Wild and Blingley Music Festival. Described by Blondie as “one of the best support acts ever” they have also shared the stage with Kings of Leon, Lenny Kravitz and also warmed up for Bruce Springsteen. Incredible!

Peaches and Bleaches, a track reviewed as “bold” and “punchy” has already received almost 20,000 YouTube views despite not being released until Good Friday (March 25th 2016). Back of the Net who broadcast via SUSY Radio were lucky to get an exclusive play on their show, 4 days prior to the release, during a live interview feature with the band. MY LIVE DIARY: The Wondersmiths

The Wondersmiths are a 5-piece from Luton and Brighton with a modern take on early brit-pop, fused with high energy indie-electro.

The band formed in 2009 and have  performed regularly at venues throughout the South East. 

The Wondersmiths have played at high-profile venues including Scala, Camden’s Barfly, Camden Underworld, Purple Turtle, O2 Academy Islington, as well as performing at Camden Nightmare Festival.

Accolades include opening for Kasabian, The Maccabees, Bloc Party, Grouplove and Tribes. Incredible! 

In 2013 the band reached the final of the MMG Battle of the Bands competition held at Marshall Amplification HQ Theatre, and they were subsequently signed to The Animal Farm record label. Their five most recent tracks were recorded with the label, and the boys are headed back into the studio once again in late January to record two brand new songs.

Little Brother Eli were formed in early 2013 by lead vocalist Alex Grew and bass player Josh Rigal. The pair were joined by guitarist Adam Stowe and drummer Benji Page who began sharing their eclectic mix of musical influences along with lap steel specialist Tom Williams.

They create their own blend of bluesy garage rock by combining powerful, soulful vocals with growling guitars and bringing the sound together with an infectious, rock solid hip-hop back beat.

NOBODIES BIRTHDAY are an 5-piece indie rock band from Berkshire who have been gigging around the South of England for almost 2 years. 

With an array of musical influences, from Oasis to The 1975, their material has 90’s Brit Pop vibe which gives them a unique edge over other contemporary indie rock bands.
