GIG REVIEW: Ella Eyre at Brixton Academy, 10th Nov. 2015

Her management team didn’t miss a trick by dressing the If I Go pop star in a catsuit on her Feline tour. The metallic, sequinned  costume hugged her tiny frame, exposing her toned figure. She looked incredible. Throughout the show the Good Times star did not stop moving. Running lengths of the stage to her up beat tracks, it’s no surprise Ella is in great shape!

There is no denying that the BRIT School Graduate is very talented. She creates contemporary styles of pop-soul. Her bold, brassy vocals enable her success as a solo artist as well as a feature artist. She is a great performer with plenty of energy.

Unfortunately, throughout her set she was overpowered by her band. However, in moments where the output was level, the performance was exceptional. My favourite track was We Don’t Have To Take Our Clothes Off. Raw. Acoustic. Delicate.
